Help Me Grow Long Island Partners with Family and Children’s Association for Successful Books, Balls, and Blocks Event

In June, Help Me Grow Long Island (HMGLI) had the pleasure of partnering with Family and Children’s Association (FCA) to host a successful Books, Balls, and Blocks event in Hempstead, Long Island.

Caregivers and their children explored various play stations and completed the Ages and Stages Questionnaire to better understand their child’s developmental milestones. HMGLI family resource specialists helped caregivers review screenings, answered questions, and provided information on free local community resources.

We wanted to thank FCA for their partnership and to everyone who attended and contributed to the success of this event. We look forward to future collaborations to continue supporting early childhood development in our community.
