BRITE Child Care – Participant spotlight

Building Relationships in Infant Toddler Early Education

As part of Project BRITE, our Infant Toddler Mental Health Consultants have worked with Family/Group Family providers in Queens and Nassau Counties.

Staff at Kernall Family Childcare in Cambria Heights participated in this continuous quality improvement project, taking advantage of the tools, time, and personal attention provided that will benefit their staff and the children in their care, and contributing feedback on this statewide model in development.

The most valuable part of Project BRITE was the staff that actually cared about daycare providers so much that they provided resources that not only helped me become a better educator, but a better team leader.

Thanks to Krystal for working with Docs for Tots in working to transform early childhood outcomes!
