ASAPP Launches in Far Rockaway at The BRIDGE Family Enrichment Center
This month, we were thrilled to host the official launch of ASAPP (Advancing Support for Assistant Providers Pilot) at The BRIDGE Family Enrichment Center in Far Rockaway. We want to extend our deepest thanks to everyone who attended and helped welcome ASAPP into the community. A special thank you to Curtis, The BRIDGE Center Director, for his partnership in making this event a success. We are excited for future collaborations with providers, assistant providers, families, and the ASAPP coalition!
ASAPP is designed to strengthen support for Family Group Childcare Providers and Educators. The initiative has two major components: coalition building and the creation of an onboarding package for Assistant Providers/Educators. Through partnerships with key individuals, organizations, and city and state systems—including PDI/QUALITYStarsNY, CCR&Rs, Child Development Support Corporation, NYC DOE ECE, and more—ASAPP focuses on improving the efficiency of service delivery by identifying and addressing gaps.
